Pros:
"nice style, but definitely runs small (at least on me and 2 friends). i have the brentwood and i love bern helmets b/c of the winter add-ons, plus nice style and good fit. this one just didn't fit right, but that could just be us. it also doesn't sit as low on the head as the brentwood."
Pros:
Cons:
"This helmet looks great and feels well constructed all around. Unfortunately, the sizing is very incorrect. I measured my head to be a large according to the instructions on Bern's website, coming out to a large. Due to other reviews I decided to order a size larger just in case. The XL size, a full size larger than what they recommended for my head size is still way too small. I don't understand how they can be so off on sizing. Apparently Bern makes two sizes larger than XL [...]. I would recommend looking for one of those larger sizes if you measure yourself to be a large or XL."
Pros:
Cons:
"i use this helmet for downhill-longboarding.
helmet feels great, the air flows under the brim, cooling your head.
and it looks great.
back of head adjustment is good, but (perhaps my head is just too large - i got the XL!) but it doesn't loosen up any more- so i have to slide that back of head pad down half and inch, so that its not securely in place (velcro.) even with this, the helmet is still protecting me."
Pros:
"despite the previous reviews - i wanted to post my positive experience with the fit. i measured my head in advance (23"), and then got a large which runs up to 23.6" i was a little nervous based on some of the other reviews and their ill experience with the helmet - but i found the bern to be incredibly comfortable, much more so than my specialized or bell helmets.
my advice - just measure your head and then order the appropriate size. love the look and feel."
Pros:
Cons:
"this helmet looked great but there was not enough soft foam padding and the largest size available was too small."
Pros:
Cons:
"Until I bought this helmet, I didn't wear one when I should have. It is functional, comfortable, and it doesn't look stupid."
Pros:
"Reviews on other sites warned me about the fit. They were right. Either it fits or it doesn't. The adjuster in the rear of the helmet does little to improve the fit, unlike other, 'standard' bike helmets. I bought an XL and it barely fits my large, but not misshapen head. The length is a little too short and the sides are too wide. An XXL would only make the width problem worse. On the plus side, these helmets are extremely well made and look very stylish. Just make sure it fits. I special ordered mine before trying one on (couldn't find one in my city), but I'll be returning it. [...]"

"I initially looked at Bern Watts for the visor. It is cool looking and very functional. Keeps the sun out of my eyes on my commute, 20 miles a day round-trip. The Watts is pretty well ventilated and fits perfect. I did have to exchange for the next size up. I measured my head as recommended and ordered what should have fit (large). The XL fits perfect on me. I will agree with previous posts that the Watts runs small. It is a little heavier than my previous helmet but it's not a problem. Bottom line, I recommend the Watts for looks and functionally."
