"This trainer worked fine for me with normal road tires. I recently purchased the Specialized Armadillo tires. My first spin on this trainer with them, the tire actually dug a deep groove into the trainer. The piece that makes contact with the rear tire is plastic, and lost the battle with the tire. Just be careful which tires you use on it...." Read Full Review
Pros:
"This is a good trainer for those who want to keep your legs in shape for the winter. It gives you a very good work out while keeping your form on your bike. Although this is a very good product but it does not have wide range of resistance. This may be adaquite for an avid cyclist but it would not be enough for someone that is a competitive cyclist or a pro. I am enjoying mine and it met my requirement."
Pros:
Cons:
"It's not as noisy as some say. Personally I think it makes the same amount of noise as a home treadmill or or a stationary bike at a gym. (I think some forget gym equipment is not usually whisper quiet, but can be rather loud)
80% of the sound comes from tire tread on your bike. the smoother the tire, the quieter the ride on this baby.
I bought this as a method of cross training for my running workout (training for 5 and 10 K's). I ride a few times a week, more if its freezing out. It's a great workout and I can feel the difference already. this is cheaper and more convenient than going to the gym, or worse buying a stand alone stationary bike.
I use it for 30-40 minutes per sitting. it works up a sweat while i catch up on "the daily show".
Simple, easy, compact (foldable), Solid, versatile (you use a bike you already own!) and inexpensive best describe this product. This is not just some cheap piece of junk!
Kudos to Dick's for carrying this, and for a rock bottom price. Your compeitiors didn't even carry this product only the $300+ version. Trust me, I looked."
Pros:
Cons:
"So, I did my research before purchasing this trainer. I read the main contact to the wheel was plastic and tends to wear away. The contact wheel is actually metal on this product. It can be a bit noisy, but for the price I am happy with it; I tend to block it out after a few minutes. Assembly was super easy and easy to understand. When moving the resistance wheel by hand it does not seem to have much difference between different settings. After putting a bike on I could feel the difference between the highest and lowest settings. I use a bike without quick release tires as well and have no difficulties mounting the bike. The base seems sturdy. Overall I am very happy with the purchase and would buy it again."
Pros:
"I am a casual/recreational rider at best (actually prefer jogging), and am using this product to keep in shape during fall/winter season when it's too dark or cold to run outside. This product was very easy to set up per the instructions, and is very easy to use. My only complaint is that it's a bit noisy, especially to others in the same room."
Pros:
Cons:
"I got good use of this item when recovering from surgery. Occasionally use it still when I can't make it to the gym. Definetely not top of the line but good value for the money I spent."
Pros:
"I ride my bike year round for exercise, but recently the temps have just been too cold for me to get a productive workout outside. This made me take a look at resistance trainers. I have only used the Graber Trainer for a few weeks, but I have been completely satisfied with it. My main goal was to simulate my regular riding conditions on level ground with light to moderate winds and this unit does that just fine. The adjustable magnetic resistance combined with the gears on the bike allow for a wide enough range of difficulty. The unit was simple to set up and worked with my bolt-on wheel mountain bike. I have no regrets, but only time will tell as far as the unit's durability. I am glad I went with this over a stationary bike because I don't have to store a large piece of equipment and I ride my bike that I am already used to. I chose a four star rating because though this is the only trainer I've used, I know there must be better ones based on the prices of other models."

Cons:
"This product was VERY easy to set up & use. Others had made comments about the noise is made but I found that the noise is minimal even though I have an off road hybrid bike w/nobby tires. i would recommend this to others especially since the price is low, it's easy to change speeds, compact & sets up quickly."
Pros:
"Easy setup, and a great way to use your rolling stock during the cold winter. I'm looking forward to putting many miles ion this unit prior to the spring melt."
